What is the mystical power of an ancient crystal skull?

In the museum, there is a small carving, in rock crystal, of a human skull.

Historians believe the crystal skull was made in Mexico, but its precise age is unknown.

What it symbolized is also a mystery, though it seems likely the original owner carried it as a religious signifier of some kind.

Many modern spiritualists believe all crystal skulls have mystic power. This idea comes from the 19th Century, when European clairvoyants divined that several magical crystal skulls reside in Mesoamerica.
